The present study aims to find out the effects of social media usage, collaborative writing on zalo is being on the focus and whether there is the improvement of writing skills of EFL students by collaborative working or collaborative writing on zalo will give any positive effects to students while they are working in groups. The present research aims to achieve two research goals, the first one is to find out the effects of collaborative writing by using zalo on EFL students' writing performance in terms of fluency, and the second one is to investigate the students’ perception toward collaborative writing on zalo when they use zalo learning model in their English classrooms. The research is hopeful to give enormous contributions to the teaching and learning methodology.
